The first thing I’m holding is my umbrella unfolding
Calling on God all knowing
Help me gain a force
To with-stain the wicket course
Because when it rain it pours
And my brain absorbs every shameful thought
In this game I fought
Against an intense onslaught
I can’t stand the rain-banging non-stop
Draining my heart
But God’s been training me from the start
Mind over matter
Let me climb this ladder
And battle every evil part

And Satan’s in the dark waiting for your downfall
But stand tall because there’s not a problem
God can’t solve
Even when times are hard and ya put to the test

When the storm in your life manifest

I have to step back and confess

Or stand and shout at the clouds

First sign of danger God’s no longer a stranger

Sleeping on God becomes a fatal move

Each day should prove and tell-ya

So take your umbrella wherever you venture

I guess its bad luck to open up
This umbrella in the house of pain
It’s like announcing the Lords name in vain
To earn lots of fame it’s all the same
He’s always been there for me I can’t complain

I have God above me head to maintain

Erasing my errors – replacing my terrors
